Montgomery Fellow Lectures

Merce Cunningham, renowned choreographer and modern dance pioneer, will be in residence at Dartmouth with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company Oct. 2 until 7. He will give a public lecture titled, “In Conversation with Merce Cunningham.”Mary Robinson, human rights activist, former president of Ireland, and former U.N. high commissioner for human rights, visits Dartmouth Oct. 7 until 10. Her Montgomery Fellow lecture will be “Making Human Rights the Compass.”

Thomas Cech, the President of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, will visit as a Montgomery Fellow at the end of October.
