Many chronic diseases are the result of an assault by the body’s own immune
system on a specific organ, tissue, or the host. This year’s symposium will
illuminate how an immune system that has gone astray contributes to diabetes,
rheumatoid arthritis, Alzheimer’s, atherosclerosis, cancer, bacterial
infection, and multiple sclerosis.
Noted researchers from Dartmouth and around the world will discuss the most
recent and exciting discoveries relevant to pathogenesis as related to a wide
range of human diseases.
Admission is free and includes morning and afternoon refreshments, as well
as lunch. The program concludes with a reception at the Hanover Inn. Visit the Website for more information and
to register, or call 650-1619.
