Dressing Up for the Debate

Spaulding Auditorium is decked out in preparation for the Sept. 26 Democratic presidential candidates’ debate. The debate, moderated by NBC’s Tim Russert, aired live on MSNBC and NECN. Dartmouth co-sponsored the event with NBC-TV, NECN, the Democratic National Committee, and the New Hampshire Democratic Party. Every four years, New Hampshire provides an intense experience in presidential politics because of its first-in-the-nation presidential primary, and Dartmouth is a frequent campaign stop for presidential hopefuls.
