Mark Your Calendars for Merce Cunningham

Merce Cunningham, renowned choreographer and modern dance pioneer, will be in residence at Dartmouth with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company Oct. 2 until 7. His Montgomery Fellow Lecture, "In Conversation with Merce Cunningham," will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in The Moore Theater.

The company's performances, presented in conjunction with the Hopkins Center, will feature the premiere of XOVER, a work co-commissioned by the Hopkins Center featuring music by John Cage and décor by Robert Rauschenberg. The performances will be on Friday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 6 at 2 and 8 p.m.
