When Head Football Coach Eugene F. "Buddy" Teevens '79 hit the road on a cross-country bike trip this spring he jump-started this year's Prouty.
Traveling from San Diego to Hanover for three weeks in May, Teevens used his trip to raise awareness for breast cancer, which has affected his wife Kirsten's family. Sports writer Bruce Wood followed Teevens's progress and posted a Prouty link on his Web site, for those interested in donating to the cause. As of Vox press time, Teevens had raised in excess of $13,000.
