The James and David Orr Memorial Lecture on Culture and Religion at Dartmouth
balmer

Randall Balmer, visiting professor of religion from Barnard College, Columbia University, will speak on “God in the White House: Faith and the Presidency from John F. Kennedy to George W. Bush.” Balmer is the author of a dozen books on the subject of faith in the United States, including God in the White House: How Faith Shaped the Presidency from John F. Kennedy to George W. Bush and Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: A Journey into the Evangelical Subculture in America. The lecture will be followed by a reception in Thorton Hall, room 210.
