Tenth Anniversary for Diversity Reading and Film Groups

"Immigration, Borders, Nations" is theme

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity's (IDE) Diversity Reading and Film Groups. All Dartmouth employees are invited to participate in informal discussion groups designed to examine topics related to diversity. This year's theme is "Immigration, Borders, Nations," an exploration of a living mosaic of people, cultures, and hope. The groups hope to capture the range of immigrant experiences. The groups will meet five times during the year, beginning in December and continuing through May. Meetings are scheduled to allow participation in both reading and film groups.

Open to all Dartmouth employees, the groups are free and books, films, and refreshments at meetings will be provided by IDE. Invitations and registration materials will be mailed in late September and registration ends Friday, October 6. For more information call Koni Denham at 646-9196.
