Dartmouth Veterans on Military Service

The Dickey Center for International Relations' War & Peace Studies program is sponsoring "Military Service...For God, For Country, For One's Self?: Dartmouth Military Veterans Discuss the Nature and Importance of Military Service," a roundtable discussion on the merits and demerits of military service. Panelists include:

  • Gene Lyons, Orvil Dryfoos Professor of Public Affairs and professor of government, emeritus
  • Allan Stam, Daniel Webster Professor of Government
  • Peter Bleyler '61
  • Nathaniel Fick '99
  • Melissa Hammerle '03
  • Wesley Lippman '03

All panelists have served or are currently serving in the U.S. military. The discussion will be held Monday, May 7, at 4:30 p.m. in Filene Auditorium, Moore Hall. For more information, call 646-2023.
