Ian Lustick, the Bess W. Heyman Professor of Political Science at the
University of Pennsylvania, will deliver the William H. Timbers '37 Lecture.
Lustick, author of Trapped in the War on Terror (2006), has worked as
a Middle East analyst in the Department of State and served as a consultant on
Middle East affairs, foreign policy, and national security policy for each
administration since the 1970s.
