ACADEMY OF ST. MARTIN IN THE FIELDS CHAMBER ENSEMBLE
The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble was established in 1967 to perform larger chamber works-from quintets to octets-with musicians who regularly perform together. The performance will be followed by a discussion.

Dubbed the "new voice of Brazilian music" (The New York Times), Virginia Rodrigues burst upon the international scene in 1997 with her stunningly evocative voice. By turns mournful and beautiful, Rodrigues' rich contralto leaves audiences amazed at its power. Her performance will be followed by a discussion.
