Register now for diversity reading and film groups

For the ninth consecutive year, the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity invites College employees to participate in informal reading and film groups designed to stimulate discussions about diversity and equity and contribute to building a stronger College community. This year's book and film selections focus on contemporary issues of religion and politics, in conjunction with the College's annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration in January.

Discussion groups will have 10 to 12 members and will meet five times, beginning in December for reading groups and in February for film groups. Participants can choose between a nonfiction or fiction book group, and/or the film group. Complete reading and film lists can be viewed on the Web site.

To request a registration form contact Rita Brown at 646-9196. The registration deadline is Friday, Oct. 28. Details about film viewing, book distribution and meeting locations will be sent to participants following registration.
