Promote your event in Vox

The Vox calendar is a snapshot of the Dartmouth Web calendar. Submitting your event for the Vox calendar is simple-just post it online at: www.dartmouth.edu/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/calendar/cal.

If you are not pre-authorized to post events, you will need a Dartmouth e-mail address to submit your event to the Calendar Ombudsman for approval. Follow the Web site prompts to post your event. Vox requires the following information:

  • Type of event
  • Title of the lecture, conference, performance or exhibition
  • Name of the person or group performing or presenting
-If the presenter is a Dartmouth faculty or staff member, include his or her job title.
-If the presenter is not from Dartmouth, include the name of his or her home institution or company.
  • Other pertinent information, such as the type of music for a musical performance
  • Date and time
  • Location
  • Contact phone number

Your event must be on the Web calendar by noon, 10 days before the date of the Vox issue. For the calendar in the Oct. 24 issue of Vox post events before noon on Friday, Oct. 14.

Events that are open to the public are most suitable for inclusion in Vox. Please call us at 646-3045 with questions or for assistance posting an event. Vox deadlines are available at www.dartmouth.edu/~vox/about/schedule.html.
