Dickey Center War and Peace Studies Program

Mark Schneider, Senior Vice President and Special Advisor on Latin America of the International Crisis Group, will speak on "Responsibility to Protect: Preventing Conflict Before the Outbreak of Deadly Violence." Schneider is a former Director of the Peace Corps (1999-2001) whose areas of expertise include the prevention of violence, post-conflict reconstruction and HIV/AIDS and security.
