"'Green Grass Everywhere': Walt Whitman at Dartmouth"

The College's rich Walt Whitman holdings are on display in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the publication of Leaves of Grass. Multiple editions of Whitman's masterwork can be seen, as well as material related to his visit to campus for the 1872 Commencement ceremonies.
