Events: Dickey Center Great Issues Lecture

Juan Cole, professor of modern Middle East and South Asian history at the University of Michigan, will speak on "The Future of Iraq and the Newly Elected Government." Cole has written extensively about modern Islamic movements in Egypt, the Persian Gulf, and South Asia. His most recent book is Sacred Space and Holy War: The Politics, Culture and History of Shi'ite Islam (2002).
