Mini-course offered

A not-for-credit evening mini-course, "Introductory Entrepreneurship," will be offered free of charge this winter to members of the Dartmouth community, specifically anyone with e-mail addresses from the domains dartmouth.edu, hitchcock.org or dartmouth.alum.org. The course is designed to offer basic education in commercialization of technology and entrepreneurship. The course will combine lectures and visiting speakers, workshop sessions and readings. Graduate students from the Tuck School of Business and the Thayer School of Engineering will also take the course for credit. Each participant will develop an executive summary of a business idea, and will present it to a panel of investors at the end of the course. Class meetings will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evenings, Jan. 6 to March 3, at the Tuck School. Introduction to Entrepreneurship is a joint project of the Tuck School, Dartmouth Medical School and the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network. For more information, e-mail Carrie Newton.
