The exhibition Luis Gispert/Loud Image is on view at the Hood Museum of Art until Sept. 19. Gispert's works include photographs, multimedia installations and a sound sculpture used to explore "high culture" notions through "low culture" references. The installation Flossing (pictured) combines sound and sculpture using hip-hop music, beeping, car alarms, and other sound tracks that reference youth culture. The exhibition has several associated events, free and open to the public.
