Dartmouth's Montgomery Fellow for the summer, Robert Dallek, will deliver a public lecture on John F. Kennedy on Tuesday, July 20, at 4 p.m. in Filene Auditorium of Moore Hall. The lecture is titled "John F. Kennedy: A Reassessment." Dallek is a leading presidential historian and author of An Unfinished Life: John F. Kennedy, 1917-1963 (Little, Brown; 2003) His other books include a two-volume biography of Lyndon Johnson, a biography of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and a biography of Ronald Reagan. He also wrote Hail to the Chief: The Making and Unmaking of American Presidents. Dallek is teaching a Dartmouth summer seminar called The Twentieth-Century American Presidency.
