A salon with Sally Pinkas

Photo by Katie Van Syckle '05

Hopkins Center Pianist-in-Residence and Professor of Music Sally Pinkas discusses the work of 19th century composer Robert Schumann at the May 18 East Wheelock Faculty Associates dinner. Hosts Ivy Schweitzer and Tom Luxon, both Associate Professors of English and the Faculty Associates for the East Wheelock Cluster, live next door to the Cluster and frequently invite other faculty members, staff and visiting performers to their home to meet on an intimate scale with students. Pinkas described this as an opportunity to run through her upcoming solo concert in Spaulding Auditorium on Tues., May 31. She will play an all-Schumann program.
