Staff, human resources alliance information session

All employees are invited to attend a Human Resources and Staff Partnership information session on Thurs., Apr. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tindle Lounge. The Partnership is developing programs of interest to staff and will be working on four areas this year: affordable living in the Upper Valley, personal and professional development, artistic outlets and recognition programs. Those were identified as key areas through a survey the group developed last year.

The HR and Staff Partnership program was begun last year by a group of Dartmouth employees interested in fostering community and creating opportunities for staff members. "There's been a lot of excitement about this," said Marilyn Ewing, Administrative Assistant in the Dean of the College office and one of the group's founders. "Human Resources has given us great support, and new people are joining the partnership regularly."

The information session will feature sign-up booths for volunteer participation and members of the Partnership will be on hand to answer questions. The Partnership requests that employees interested in attending send an e-mail to: hr.staff.partnership@dartmouth.edu.
