Gwen Ifill is moderator and managing editor of "Washington Week" and senior correspondent for "The Newshour with Jim Lehrer." She was at NBC News for five years as chief congressional correspondent and while there, covered the premier political stories affecting the nation. Before joining NBC News she wrote for The New York Times, covering the White House and politics. Ifill will give a lecture titled "Race, Culture and Politics in the Wake of the 2004 Election."
