Dartmouth's annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, on the Dartmouth Green. The 35-foot blue spruce, donated by Frederick and Irene Gernhard of Lyme, N.H., will be lit by their grandchildren. Dartmouth's Glee Club, conducted by Louis Burkot, will sing carols and choral music after the lighting. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 646-3749.
