The opera follows an infant who is found by an abbot and taken to a monastery where he becomes a monk. He struggles to find meaning in the monastery where he is confined for 20 years. The one-act opera is part of senior Brian Griffeath-Loeb's Department of Music Senior Fellowship Project. He produced the opera, composed its music, and co-wrote the script with Meghan Fitzgerald '04 using a story she wrote.
