ARTS AND SCIENCES

Tom Sleigh, Professor of English and of Creative Writing, was awarded a grant from the LEF Foundation in December. The foundation, which distributes funds to New England artists, is awarding $8,000 to the Boston Director's Lab to support Sleigh's latest project, a contemporary rendering of the Trojan War that is slated to  be the second work in a trilogy. Sleigh, who published a translation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Herakles in  2000, is at work on this further interpretation of Greek mythology.
