On Wednesday, Jan. 14, U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige will visit to recognize and honor Dartmouth's new vision for its Education Department, which involves a commitment to basic research in child development and its principled application both to education and to teacher training. Secretary Paige will speak at a public presentation at 4:30 p.m. in Filene Auditorium in Moore Hall followed by a reception. Early arrival is recommended, and overflow sites have been arranged in Moore Hall and Carson Hall. For more information call 646-3462.
