A Compilation of Leave Term Experiences
Brought to you by the Deans' Office Student Consultants
We, the 2003-2004 Deans' Office Student Consultants, compiled twelve vignettes about unique leave term experiences. Enclosed in these pages are the past adventures of your fellow Dartmouth students. They are the risk takers, the adventure seekers, and the dreamers who dared to challenge themselves, pursuing unconventional experiences for their terms away from Dartmouth. We hope to inspire you with this magazine, because we believe that your away term presents an incredible opportunity. Think big, be passionate, and seize it! We invite you to follow in their footsteps, as well as blaze your own trails. Congratulations...you're "Off and Away!"
The 2003-2004 DOSCs
Special thanks to James Larimore, Dean of the College, for his support of this project. We would also like to thank the Deans' Office, specifically Dean Sylvia Langford and Dean Gail Zimmerman. We extend our gratitude to the article contributors, and finally to Leslie Feingerts for her creative input and editing expertise.
