Series Editor: Jonathan D. Sarna
Associate Editor: Sylvia Barack Fishman

Brandeis University Press has established this series to publish books that break new ground in the study of American Jewish history, culture, and life. It encompasses all areas of American Jewish civilization, including history, religion, thought, politics, economics, sociology, anthropology, literature, and the arts. The series emphasizes contemporary and interdiscplinary studies, and volumes that tie together divergent aspects of the American Jewish experience.
