Published to accompany an exhibition of Grolier Club Library treasures running from May 12 through July 31, 2004, this is the first detailed illustrated overview ever attempted of the Club's world-famous collections on the art and history of the book. A Winterhouse Edition, designed by William Drenttel, and printed by the Studley Press in an edition of 2,000 copies in The Enschedé Font Foundry's Lexicon type on Mohawk Superfine paper.
