The mission of Multi-Faith Conversations is to facilitate opportunities for understanding, exploration, and discussion of the role that faith plays in the lives of students in the Dartmouth community.
We currently meet on Tuesdays at 5:45 – 7:00 PM for dinner in the Tucker Foundation’s Seminar Room. Blitz Religious.and.Spiritual.Life@Dartmouth.edu if you wish to join. Students of any or no faith are welcome to join. All we ask for is an interest on issues of faith and spirituality as an important aspect of campus life and a willingness to share and listen.
Our meetings revolve around topics of members’ choosing or the sharing of a student ‘spiritual autobiography.’ That is, student members are given the opportunity to share how their faith has shaped them, important aspects of their particular set of beliefs, what they have struggled with, and what faith has meant to their Dartmouth experience. We also plan events for the broader Dartmouth community.
This past term we hosted Voices of Faith, a chance for students to gather over dinner to share their religious experiences and listen to a panel of their peers share stories about the impact of faith and spirituality on their time at Dartmouth. You can read this years Voices of Faith here.
