Tucker Program: Habitat for Humanity, SEAD
History with Tucker: "I volunteered with SEAD and started volunteering for Habitat for Humanity my sophomore year. I became a Habitat Chair junior year, and now this year I have been the student director."
What Tucker Means to Me: "Tucker is a huge resource. Without the Tucker Foundation acting as an organizational umbrella for so many service programs on campus, students would be lacking in so many important volunteer opportunities."

Dartmouth’s robust Multi-Faith programs seek to build community across religious lines. We seek to honor the diversity of religious worldviews, be they Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Baha’i, Native, Sikh, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist, Seeking, some combination of the above, or anything else. We look to build relationships through the exploration of narratives of faith, honoring common ground and shared concerns while not shying away from real and significant difference.
A weekly gathering of a religiously diverse group of Dartmouth Students. We gather on Tuesday evenings during academic terms to build community, discuss things of importance, and plan events for the Dartmouth Community.
A residential community of 13 undergraduate Dartmouth students dedicated to living together and learning from one another about their religious and spiritual lives.
The Faith in Action Alternative Spring Break trip seeks to bring together students from a diversity of religious and moral traditions to explore the issue of youth and homelessness. We will serve, in Spring 2012, in the greater Washington DC area with a variety of non-profit groups while exploring community service as a shared theme across traditions.
New for Fall 2011, a group of students working weekly in Upper Valley homes in need of weatherization work. More info coming soon.
Many summers, during a warm July weekend to be determined, a small group of bold intrepid multi-faith participants takes to the woods of New Hampshire (in a Dartmouth cabin, of course) for a brief, meaningful and relaxing multi-faith retreat. Activities include cooking, hiking, communing with nature, deep discussions and forced arts and crafts.
