WHO WE ARE
Zen is Buddhist practice, an investigation into the nature of "self", suffering and the resolution of suffering. Dartmouth Zen Practice welcomes all comers, from Dartmouth and from the wider community, regardless of religious affiliation or meditation experience. Students are encouraged to take leadership roles in the group and to assist in planning an annual Spring seminar, involving teachers from both academic and practice backgrounds. The group is led by Gendo Allyn Field, founder of the Upper Valley Zen Center and lay ordained monk in the community of Rinzai Zen master Joshu Sasaki.
ACTIVITIES
Practice sessions are held at the Tucker Foundation, room 105.
AFFILIATION
Other events and practice times are available at the affiliated Upper Valley Zen Center, located at 58 Bridge Street, White River Junction, VT (www.UVZC.org).
