"The spring break trip to Tijuana was a great eye-opening experience, not only to me, but to my friends who grew up in the US. We became aware of the plight of children who grow up without the privilege of parental love. I was amazed at how God’s love can transcend fears, doubts and anything. On the first day, some of the kids made fun of me because I was black - after day 2 I was endeared to the kids, dancing, running around, carrying them and starring in basketball!!"
