Richard R. Crocker is the Virginia Rice Kelsey S'61 Dean of the Tucker Foundation and Chaplain of Dartmouth College. Dean Crocker is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). He is a graduate of Brown University, with a AB and MA in English and American literature. Dean Crocker was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, and holds the M.Div. and Ph.D, degrees from Vanderbilt University. He is a licensed pastoral psychotherapist.
Dean Crocker is a native of Alabama. He is interested in the intersection of psychology and religion, as well as the interaction of religion and politics. He coordinates the United Campus Ministry at Dartmouth, and he teaches in the college's writing program. Dean Crocker is available to speak with anyone at the college for personal and pastoral needs, and looks forward to getting to know you better.
