Project Cycle

Each Cross Cultural Program is carefully developed to identify and address specific community needs. The process may be represented as a loop, as illustrated here.

  1. Identification - Bridges to Communities and CCESP team members will work through Participatory Poverty Assessments (PPA) to discover community needs.
  2. Research - Research Fellows will gather data and pursue detailed analysis to document the needs identified by the community.
  3. Solution Strategy - Consultants will take into consideration completed research and design specific strategies to address the identified needs.
  4. Proposal - All of the participants will work to match the CCESP timeline and resources with the solution strategy to produce a final project proposal.
  5. Approval - Project proposal will be submitted to the Tucker Council for review and approval, which if granted will commit CCESP time and resources.
  6. Implementation - CCESP team will carry out the activities outlined in solution strategy in cooperation with Bridges to Communities, URACCAN and local organizations.
  7. Completion - The project will be completed by CCESP teams and their partners according to the timeline set forth in the solution strategy.
  8. Evaluation - Consultants and CCESP teams will evaluate the successes and failures of the project based on objective measures and outcomes identified in project proposal.
