Dear International Undergraduate Students at Dartmouth!

Are you an international Dartmouth undergraduate?  Are you staying on campus this winter term?  Make this break MATTER.  Join the Tucker Foundation for a "WINTER INTERIM SERVICE TRIP" to the great city of BOSTON!  Created exclusively for International Students, we are offering this service project to get you off campus and into fun and inspiring volunteer projects in Boston!  Following the service work each day there will be opportunity to go sightseeing and explore Boston ("Beantown") and Cambridge.  All meals for these two days will be provided, as well as travel and basic overnight accommodations.

Trip information:

VOLUNTEER SPOTS AVAILABLE: 7 for each trip - participation is competitive.

Trip #1 Winter Interim 2012 - Boston: Homelessness – Tues. Nov. 27th and Wed. Nov. 28th (one overnight)

This trip will explore issues of homelessness through direct service and an education session prior to the trip.

Mandatory Education Session – Wed. November 14th, 4:30-6:00 PM

This trip will explore issues of food security through direct service and an education session prior to the trip.

Trip Requirements:

-Upon successful acceptance to a trip each participant will be asked to contribute a non-refundable $10 fee for the trip attended (payable in cash or check)

*If the cost of the program presents a hardship, please contact Adam Knowlton-Young - adam.j.knowlton-young@dartmouth.edu*

-Participants must be an international Dartmouth undergraduate

-Participants must be on-campus or in the Hanover area during the trip being applied for, and must attend the mandatory pre-trip education session
