Language & Culture Resource Library for Teachers

Workshops

LIM partner teachers are invited to attend exciting professional development workshops throughout the year free of cost. In the past teachers have participated in a Rassias Method® Workshop, workshops on teaching to maximize student interactive learning and how to use technology to teach language and culture.

Funding Opportunities

Wish you could travel, learn about language and/or culture, and bring back artifacts for your students? Got a conference you've wanted to attend?

LIM partner teachers (who host at least one presenter) can download and fill out the LIM Teacher Professional Development Funding Application (doc). The program gives out up to $6,500 annually.

Windsor High School teacher Denise George used a LIM Professional Development grant to travel to Spain in July 2012. Of her trip George said, "It was truly amazing to see the information I have read about come alive!...the benefits of this experience will undoubtedly enhance my students and influence their decisions."
