Rivendell Boys Mentoring Program

Program Description

Be a part of a program that connects 6th grade boys atRivendell Academy in Orford, NH with Dartmouth volunteers in a supportive environment with honest and open communication. Help guide the boys through a year-long exploration of the academic, social, and emotional challenges of adolescence.

Each week, Rivendell Academy students meet with Dartmouth mentors in small groups for interactive activites and discussions about topics such as:

- Relationships

- Puberty

- Peer Pressure

- Drugs and Alcohol

Dartmouth men can be great role models for these boys, many of whom come from challenging environments. Mentoring, enthusiasm, and attention can help to give these boys a head start on the rest of their lives.
