Jolyon Pruszinski became a Christian at Dartmouth in 1998 during his
sophomore year, experiencing God's love through relationships with friends
involved with The Navigators and First Baptist Church of Lebanon, NH. He
graduated in 2000 as a physical geography major, and married Emily (nee Cullen
'00) in August of that year. Upon graduating Jolyon worked for five years as a
consultant in urban and transportation planning in Portland, OR and Norwich, VT
(consulting on, among other desperately important projects, the infamous
'bridge to nowhere' in Alaska). He began volunteering with The Navigators upon
returning to the Upper Valley in 2002, and sensing the call of God, he and
Emily joined the staff full time in 2005. Jolyon is author of the Paddling
Section of the 2005 Dartmouth Outing Guide, has co-led two spring break service
trips to New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief work, and can often be found
working at modern verse adaptations of the Bible (read: rap). He would be happy
to talk about hard issues of faith, but hey, with some pizza or a PBR he'll
talk with you about anything! He and Emily are blessed to be the parents of
Kyra Noelle and Nathaniel Theodore Pruszinski. God is love.
