A student of Zen since 1974, and ordained lay monk in the community of Rinzai Zen master Joshu Sasaki since 2003. Founded the Upper Valley Zen Center in White River Junction (2005). Lives in Lebanon, NH with wife, Lianne and two children, Anna and Daniel, (now mostly gone from home). Gainfully employed as designer and builder of science museum exhibits, and cabinet maker.
