Zen Practice Group

WHO WE AREZen Group

Zen is Buddhist practice and Buddhist practice is to study the nature of “self”. The Zen Practice Group at Dartmouth welcomes all comers, from Dartmouth and from the wider community. Our scheduled meetings (below) involve sitting meditation, chanting, sometimes walking meditation, and, during longer sessions, talks on some aspect of Buddhism and our practice. We are dedicated to bringing guest teachers to campus in collaboration with academic departments and Buddhist practice groups in the wider community.
