Student Quotes

"Being a part of the Christian Science Organization has been an enriching complement to my academic life at Dartmouth. I love meeting regularly with like-minded students, faculty and alumni, and doing so helps me make sure that I?m developing spiritually as well as intellectually. Operating under the umbrella of the Tucker Foundation has made the experience particularly rewarding, because it affirms the college?s commitment to serving the spiritual and moral needs of people in the community like me." Alan Bunce, Tuck '03

Description

The Christian Science Organization at Dartmouth College ("CSOD") provides a community for those who use the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy as part of a spiritual approach to all aspects of their campus life. The CSOD also seeks to help support those in the greater campus community who are seeking spiritual insights into life or are interested in spirituality.

Activities

We hold regular meetings, attend the local Christian Science church together, and participate in a variety of campus events. All meetings and activities are open to any member of the campus community and other guests of members.

Contact info

For more information, please email the CSOD Coordinator (a student member chosen each term to administrate the group). Also feel free to contact the CSOD Advisor, currently Professor Robert Collier of the Thayer School. You may also visit the CSOD Website
