Dartmouth Students Volunteer for Home Makeover

EXTREME MAKEOVER: Home Edition (Volunteers and Spectators)

The ABC TV show is building a home in the Lyme, NH. from September 29 into October 8th. The Tucker Foundation has been coordinating volunteers for those at Dartmouth who would like to participate. Volunteer positions are for support roles, not skilled construction. Limited volunteer slots remain at this time.

This is a volunteer community event; Dartmouth employees who wish to volunteer during work hours should check with their supervisors as appropriate about unpaid away time. Employees travel in their own vehicles.

TO VOLUNTEER for the limited shifts still remaining: Email "Tucker Foundation". Your message will be seen during work day hours.

Location for volunteer pick-up for students will be the Tucker Foundation.

SPECTATORS are welcome to come to the production set / build site and watch from a designated area. No registration is necessary. Simply drive to the Dartmouth Skiway, 39 Grafton Turnpike Rd. and take the shuttle bus to location. You will need to walk from the shuttle bus to the viewing area. Enclosed shoes are necessary. Standing viewing only.

HANDICAPPED ACCESS: Extreme Makeover will have an accessible bus at the Dartmouth Skiway to accomodate *spectators* with special needs on Monday, Oct. 5, 8:am until 8:pm. Simply NO reservation is necessary, simply arrive at the Skiway and speak to volunteer about the accommodation bus.

There is no handicapped access for volunteers.
