Dartmouth Habitat for Humanity receives $20,000 from the Class of '88

During a pre-game Homecoming tailgate, the Class of '88 presented the Dartmouth Chapter of Habitat for Humanity with a check for $20,000. The ceremony was attended by Don Derrick from the Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity affiliate, Kyle Polite from the Tucker Foundation, Anne-Marie Keane '88, current Habitat student leaders and volunteers and members of the Class of '88 and their families.

Dartmouth students, in collaboration with the Upper Valley Affiliate, other community agencies, local businesses, non-profits, community members and Dartmouth alumni, fundraised over $100,000 for this year's Habitat house on Meriden Road in Lebanon, NH.

Habitat for Humanity International works to build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those in need of adequate shelter. The Dartmouth chapter is a student-run project through the William Jewett Tucker Foundation and works with the Upper Valley Habitat for Humanity Affiliate, local churches, families, and other community groups. This year's house will be the third constructed by the Dartmouth chapter.
