Entrepreneurship Fellowship
Information for Applicants
The Class of 1982 Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship seeks to catalyze the
creativity and innovation of Dartmouth undergraduates to benefit the Upper
Valley community today and in the future while instilling an appreciation for
social entrepreneurship and community service as a part of a broad liberal arts
education. The Tucker Foundation and the Class of 1982 intend for this
collaboration between student social entrepreneurs and Upper Valley non-profit
organizations to improve economic and social opportunities in the Upper Valley,
and to strengthen connections between Dartmouth undergraduates and local social
entrepreneurs. Further information and application can be found at:

Applicants must consult directly with Program
Director, Jan Tarjan well in advance of submitting an application.
Appointments are made with Kathy Boivin, Administrative Assistant on the second
floor at the Foundation.
Applicants must consult directly with the non-profit agency or
school in which they propose to complete the fellowship project well
in advance of submitting an application. Appointments are made by the proposed
fellow with the community organization.
Applicants must submit the following:

Application, complete with project proposal, budget and Fellowship learning
plan
- Resume
- Two letters of recommendation (one from a professor, another from a work or
volunteer supervisor, or a coach)
- CSO (Community Service Organization)
Supervisor’s Agreement to Collaborate
Applicants must complete an interview with delegates from
the Class of 1982 Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship Advisory Committee during
the posted interview times.
Applicants will be informed of decisions via Blitzmail,
with formal letter following, within ten days of the deadline.
The Fellowship is funded at approximately $6,000 over a 4-8
term period; fellowship terms of involvement are flexible to meet individual
Dartmouth Plans.
DEADLINE, FEBRUARY 15. Applications and all support
