Student Quotes

"ABE is a great way to get involved in the Upper Valley community. I've had a great experience working with the same person for over a year. Not only have I seen her improve in our English studies, but I’ve also had the opportunity to get to know her and her entire family." -- Julia Bosch

"ABE is a special program that caters to the educational needs of adults and teenagers in the upper valley. We tutor at various drop-in centers such as Hixon House as well as with the residents of Hannah House, a home for pregnant teenage mothers. We work on GED prep or high school subjects with the tutees developing programs to cater to their individual needs." --Jenny Sharfstein
