Food and Shelter Issues

Programs

Students with a recently-completed houseOverview

The purpose of the DCS Food and Shelter Issues programs is two-fold. First, these programs help to provide food and shelter to those in the Upper Valley who are unable to afford proper food and shelter and, second, to promote community awareness regarding these issues. Students may participate in these programs on a variety of levels including physical labor, community outreach, and planning events. These programs are ideal for those who are interested in working directly with, and improving the lives of, members of our surrounding communities.
