The 5th annual Dartmouth-United Way DAY OF CARING is a chance for all individuals in the area to give, advocate, and volunteer. It's a day to join hands, open hearts, and show the community how to "Live United." Various projects will appeal to a diversity of interests, and each will provide an opportunity for volunteers to gain first-hand experience with area non-profits and to raise awareness of community issues and services. Meet new friends, learn about the Upper Valley, and give back to your community!
Join us at noon for a kick-off celebration on the Dartmouth Green with food and music before traveling to your project site. Volunteers will be on-site from 1-4 and will return to campus by 4:30 for a reflection dinner in 1953 Commons. Transportation will be provided.
Last year, over 170 volunteers contributed 1,000 hours of service to area non-profits! We are excited to welcome and engage with the newest members of the Dartmouth and Upper Valley communities at the 5th Annual Day of Caring!
