Over 100 students and their teachers from four area high schools will appear on the Dartmouth campus on Friday, May 18, at the Second Annual Language in Motion (LIM) Spring Symposium.
LIM has paired Dartmouth undergraduates who have had intercultural experiences with teachers in each of its partner schools: Lebanon High School, Lebanon, NH; Rivendell Academy, Orford, NH; Stevens High School, Claremont, NH; and Windsor High School, Windsor, VT. Undergraduates share their experiences with high school students and promoted college awareness by talking about life as a college student.
The Spring Symposium will take place from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm and feature presentations about countries ranging from Ethiopia to Japan, performances by international Dartmouth ensemble groups, specialized guided tours of the Dartmouth campus, a panel discussion on college access, and much more. Dartmouth faculty will provide teachers with professional development training.
