Why do you love about working at Tucker?
At Tucker there are many opportunities for learning and service projects that focus on helping others. I love working at Tucker because I want to be a part of the solution to some of the problems in the Upper Valley and the world.
What are your plans for this summer?
In 2009, I cooperated with a Motorcycle Maintenance Project that was awarded by the 100 Projects for Peace grant to three students from Lewis & Clark College. Even since then, I had the dream of applying for this grant when I came to college in the U.S. one day. I was awarded funding by the Davis Projects for Peace to work on a project this summer in China. My project is called, "Equity in Education and Peaceable Relations." The Davis Projects for Peace encourages students to engage in small scaled innovative project which aims to promoting peace. This is a real challenge and also it gives students an opportunity to think beyond their classroom and get a first-hand experience in making innovative ideas a reality.
