How have your Tucker experiences affected you?
Service has always been a very important part of my life for almost 10 years now and Tucker has helped me to continue to participate in the activities that I loved the most about high school.
What has surprised you about life at Dartmouth?
I don't want to say that I've found myself, but college has really helped to reinforce my beliefs and even learn new things about myself that I would have never expected.
What do you love about What Matters to Me and Why?
What Matters to Me and Why is just a wonderful program. I started attending the sessions last year because of the free lunch (just being honest) and it evolved into this love of being in an environment when you see a whole new, intimate side to faculty. They really are interesting people with interesting lives that you would never know about otherwise. And hey, there is definitely free lunch if that wasn't enough of an incentive already.
What would you say to a student who is trying to get involved at Tucker?
The people won't bite. Don't be afraid to reach out. If you want to perform service, the people at Tucker will do anything to make that happen.
What is one fun fact about you?
I have never lost a game of Monopoly. People hate playing with me.
